House Revenue - 02.08.2023
The committee considers a proposal to expand the corporate activity tax exemption for agricultural wholesalers to processors.

Hearing Summary
On Wednesday, the House Revenue Committee continued its hearing from February 2 on a measure redirecting marijuana tax revenues to city and county governments. It also held a hearing on a measure adding agricultural processors to the list of entities allowed to use a special corporate activity tax (CAT) certification to determine sales sold outside the state through wholesalers. Since the marijuana discussion was a continuation of the earlier hearing, we will focus this summary on the CAT proposal.
