House Revenue - 03.01.2023

The committee held informational hearings on proposals to modify the practices of the Oregon Tax Court and repeal the state's controversial throwback apportionment policy.

Hearing Summary

On Tuesday, the House Revenue Committee held informational hearings on three measures for members to review amendments and ask questions to better understand the issues at hand. The topics of the hearing included allowing trade associations to petition the Oregon Tax Court for declaratory rulings, directing local income tax appeals to the Oregon Tax Court, and repealing Oregon's throwback rule for corporate apportionment.

For transparency, I want to acknowledge that I am the lead proponent behind these measures. If anyone has questions or would like additional information, please contact me via email.
