At the Oregon Leadership Summit, Governor-Elect Kotek announced her support for a tax and regulatory incentive package to lure investments from the semiconductor industry. The Oregonian reports she would support a $200 to $300 million incentive package and stressed the legislature needs to act in the first 30 days of the session for the best shot at securing new investments. Notably, the comment was not part of her keynote address to the conference but instead in a gaggle with reporters immediately following.
